This particular for an Ital/Austrian magazine in 2001. They were interested in the fact that my design style bridged the gap between the Italian and Austrian style of gardening. They chose to feature one particular garden that I designed for a Countess around her Castle in a town in the Dolomite mountains in Northern Italy.
I based the design around strong flower structure and colour, using a system of planting laid down by Gertrude Jekyll in England during the late 1800's. The design also featured a small, formal vegetable garden, outlined by boelegant boxwood hedging.
